Carlos Gauna, who uses the name “The Malibu Artist” on social media, is a drone expert. And as of late, he’s become an expert at capturing great white shark footage along the Southern California coast. He’s seen all types of interactions as sharks encounter surfers, swimmers, and paddlers. But this might be the most intense? The anonymous swimmer he captures on drone sees the great white from what looks like at least 10-15 yards away and stops to keep an eye on the apex predator. Along with the footage, Guana drops some other hints if you happen to see a great white in the water. Regardless, the footage is crystal clear and actually quite beautiful as the swimmer keeps his wits about him.
