South Africa is a place that’s on every surfer’s bucket list. It is absolutely loaded with waves, from the world famous to the not-so-well-known. Somewhere in between J-Bay and a spot you’ve never heard of is Elands Bay, a near-perfect setup that runs from the Point across a kelpy reef before wrapping its way over a sand bottomed river mouth. As is the case with many short surf clips, it’s not the surfing that’s the best part–it’s the natural beauty of the place.
