El Porto is a surf spot in Los Angeles that offers mostly closeout waves. And open barrels every once in a blue moon. I find myself filming there more than I’d like to admit. But, like I said, every once in a long while, it resembles a super-fun, peaky wave magnet. I filmed El Porto on January 4, 2026 and it was almost as good as it gets as far as turns go.
