This month we encountered a problem with the Top Ten Photos. We couldn't whittle it down to just ten. So this month, my ten is eleven. It's kind of like a baker's dozen, only it's not. But whatever. The more amazing-ness the better, right?

Lakey Peterson: I have never been so scared in my life! Seriously, jumping out of a plane was crazy! But it was also so much fun. I did it in Hawaii this year. It has been on y bucket list for a while so I was stoked to finally check it off.
I believe this is Tim Tebow just moments before paddling out at Blacks Beach. One of those days when the mist from the waves get pushed against the cliffs to make for some dramactic light. Easily one of my favorite beaches in the world. Photo: Myles McGuinness

I took the week off work to get this swell on the Gold Coast and scored! This is Kirra midweek and uncrowded. Photo: Jack Dekort

This image was shot back when I only had a film camera. I remember snapping a few frames of this unidentified girl as she cruised under the pier with style and grace. Weeks later was when I realized how special that moment really was. Photo: Jean Paul Molyneux

Colin (Whitbread) is my go to guy, he used to live just down the street and we always seem to link up with great light and conditions. Photo: Myles McGuinness

Last month, Zach and I came up with an idea to do a monthly feature showcasing our favorite photos from the last thirty days. I figured it would be easy. Like I said before, looking through contributors’ photos is one of the best parts of this job. But this month I encountered a problem. I couldn’t whittle it down to just ten photos. But here’s the thing about the internet versus a magazine: there’s unlimited room. So this month, my ten is eleven. It’s kind of like a baker’s dozen, only it’s not. But whatever. The more amazing-ness the better, right?
