It’s not too often that Florida turns on. But when it does… look out. Come hurricane season, Florida’s balmy, normally placid waters stand up on their own two feet and give birth to some real beauties.

It’s not too often that Florida turns on. But when it does… look out. Come hurricane season, Florida’s balmy, normally placid waters stand up on their own two feet and give birth to some real beauties. And to top it off, the Sunshine State has pumped out some of the planet’s best surfers. Kelly Slater, anyone? The Hobgoods? Lisa Anderson? The Lopez brothers? Yup, all from Florida. There’s something in the water.
