Alexey Molchanov likes to go deep. Like, really deep. The Russian freediver seemingly sets a new world record every other week. He’s won world titles, been to the deepest parts of the ocean–as humanly possible–all over the world, and continues to set the standard in the pursuit of deep water swimming. Above is a brief look at the 31-year-old’s attempt at a world record in the Bahamas. To most normal humans, it looks absolutely terrifying.
