This winter has been all-time for surfers in California. There were literally waves everywhere. It seemed like every day the surf report in Santa Barbara called for 5- to 8-foot surf with good conditions. For us in Los Angeles, we tried to make it north as much as possible, but it was difficult getting past some not-so-hidden but pumping waves in North Los Angeles. Photographer Lessandro Morales, however, didn’t attempt to move an inch outside the Santa Barbara County this past January, and we don’t blame him. Here are few photos from Urban Barrels ambassador and lensman, Lessandro Morales, to sum up this epic January in Santa Barbara. Enjoy and stay barreled.
