Every fall, the best surfers in the world come to Europe to compete in the World Tour events in France and in Portugal. Along with them come thousands of photographers trying to get that shot of Kelly Slater, Parko or Medina, or whoever their favorite surfer is. Some are pro, some amateur, some have big lenses, and some go in the water. I am one of them, and I got the shots of someone else getting the shot.
No one’s publishing shit though because nowadays every pro has both a video and a photo guy covering their sessions.
