Every year at the U.S. Open of Surfing, spectators on the beach go face to face with a top predator. “Yeah, that happens all the time,” you might be saying to yourself. This year, though, it wasn’t that kind predator–not the usual two-legged beach predator that Chris Hansen is worried about.
