You may have missed the news, but there’s a new surfing video game kicking around out there. In the same vein as Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer, Barton Lynch Pro Surfing 2022 features a whole bunch of pro surfers at a whole bunch of really, really good waves. It’s described as “an in-depth, leader-board sports game meets free-surf exploration (in) 12 massive worlds.”
One of the featured surfers is Clay Marzo, a man who is infinitely interesting. His surfing is next-level and, by his own design, we don’t see too much of it. But if you’re the gaming type, you can try and recreate it from the comfort of your darkened basement. So you’ve got that going for you, which is nice.
