Kai Lenny doesn’t much care what anyone thinks about his surfing. He’ll surf whatever he wants, whether it’s a foil board, a standup paddle board, or something with straps. He’ll surf any wave, big, small, Nazaré or man-made. Oh, he’s got haters, but those haters aren’t surfing half as well as Kai Lenny is. Those haters aren’t having half as much fun as Kai Lenny is. If it’s fun for Kai, he’s going to try it — and that’s a pretty good outlook on anything in life.
Prime example: Kai Lenny in a wave pool surfing a board with tow-straps. Oh, the haters will certainly hate… but look at what Kai’s doing. Kai Lenny is out here in 3021 while we’re all stuck in 2021. “Flew down to Waco, Texas to go surfing, believe it or not,” Kai wrote. “In the woods there is a wave pool that has a wave with the perfect air section to train on maneuvers. I was with the best up-and-coming super groms in the world. They motivated me to do better!”
