Oh, Kelly Slater. Beneath all that competitive veneer lies a soft-hearted dude who’s really involved in stuff like this. The WSL Surf Ranch recently hosted a group of men, women and children who are getting over debilitating illnesses. With the help of Valley Children’s Hospital Adaptive Sports in Madera, Calif., the people at the ranch showed these surfers what looked like an awesome time. The folks who attended pretty much looked like everyman wave riders, people we can all relate to. Which makes this little video pieces one of the WSL’s best of the year.
Humanity Comes to Kelly’s Surf Ranch and It’s Beautiful
So much awesomeness here.
