You can't see him in this frame but Wade Goodale is in that barrel. The heaviest thing I have ever seen. Tahiti at twenty foot is next level and these guys go on waves that don't even make sense. Heroes in my book. Photo: Seth de Roulet
Part of being a surf photographer in the modern age is being willing and able to leave on a moment’s notice. This spring I had a two-month stretch where I could not catch my breath. Puerto Rico with Josie Graves, Rob Brown and Jordan Heaselgrave. Then Fiji with Andrew Bennett and Gade. That was followed by Tahiti with Tuhiti Haumani and Andrew Bennett and then straight back to Tahiti for the MASSIVE tow swell in May. Over that two-month stretch, I saw more waves barrel and spit than I ever thought possible. The following is a quick glimpse from those four trips. I want to thank Sundance Beach for their support and for putting me with the best surfers in the best barrels in the world.
