It Was So Big in the South Bay That Only One Surfer Made It Out

It didn’t look surf-able! Huge, relentless waves battered Los Angeles’ South Bay. It looked like far too brutal of a paddle out for most surfers. Shane Gallas made the 45-minute paddle out to surf a few adrenaline-filled waves and I was there to capture the action.
