Jack Coleman is an interesting man. His mind seems to work a little differently than most, and that’s definitely a good thing. He’s the creative genius behind such films as The Zone, Groove Move, Secret Sound Underground, and Zone Frequency, all of which feature interesting surfers, interesting surfboards, and interesting camera/editing work. Coleman calls Newport Beach home, but he’s a man on the road. Above is a conversation with a man who, in the words of the Vissla team, “zigs when most people zag.”
