Jackson Bunch is making his Championship Tour debut this year, but it feels like he’s been around forever. That’s because he kind of has – the Maui native has been sponsored by Quiksilver since he was just 13 years old and has spent the past two years making a name for himself on the WSL Challenger Series. More recently, he introduced himself to CT audiences with a wildcard entry to the 2024 Pipe Pro that ended in a 17th place finish. Now, though, it’s time for the big show.

For a quick preview of what Jackson’s rookie season could look like, we go to Hawai’i-based YouTube channel Off Da Lip. In their most recent video, drone footage captures Bunch scoring a few rides on Oahu, and looking pretty damn good in the process.

“Watching Jackson from the beach at Haleiwa will make you go ‘Who the $%^#” was that?,’ as he races around 30 yard white water section to vertically smack the lip in what seems/looks effortless for him,” reads the caption. “The top seeds are gonna have to be on their a-game when they draw Jackson in the early rounds this year, as he has the potential to score high in all types of conditions.”
