Finally. Over the past few weeks, the wave-starved Southern California coast saw days and days of pumping swell energy dished up by Mother Nature and the Pacific Ocean. The usual summertime suspects came alive: Malibu, Trestles, and especially the Wedge.
Jamie O’Brien was on hand and managed to sneak into a couple – not without taking a few lumps, though. Still, the guy has a way of making the nerve-wracking art of scratching into bombs at the Wedge look like child’s play.
