Winter has pretty much arrived on the North Shore of Oahu. Not the full brunt of those enormous swells that swing across the ocean, pointed for a seven-mile stretch of very famous sand, but a harbinger of what’s to come. Jamie O’Brien waits all year for his favorite waves to light up in those winter months, so you can bet that when they show signs of waking up, he’s going to be one of the first people out there.
