“Did we just surf the best river wave ever?” asks Jamie O’Brien. Not likely. Because “Best River Wave Ever,” would definitely be high praise. There are a lot of waves out there in a lot of random places and more to be discovered. But Jamie’s find was definitely choice, most likely somewhere in the Northern Rockies and the stoke levels were certainly high. Jamie meets up with Missoula’s KB Brown and a number of other intermountain river surfers who take the North Shore resident on a little adventure up a drainage that’s certainly flowing bank to bank – a secret spot we’ll keep quiet about too. Because it’s definitely a gem. And Jamie, KB, and their pals make it look fun.
