Jamie O’Brien is on his annual California sojourn post North Shore winter. Look back at his archives and this is usually the time JOB takes his talents elsewhere. But that doesn’t mean he still isn’t searching for river waves. The Waimea expert recently surfed a massive wave at a location most Southern California surfers know well. The river wave there just started to become popular, thanks to Jamie’s influence and the work of one Blair Conklin. Well, this time, that wave turned into a beast.
