Jamie O’Brien Surfs a Dirty Waimea River Wave

When it rains in Hawaii, it pours. It’s warm and wonderful; the kind of rain that one can enjoy just simply standing in. And, since all rivers lead to the ocean, when it rains in Hawaii, the Waimea river swells and, if you’re very lucky, it swells enough to create a wave. It’s a wave that Jamie O’Brien enjoys — although there likely isn’t a wave on Earth that he doesn’t — and when it’s on, he’s on it. Which is what you can see at the tail end of his most recent vlog. First, however, he does a good deed and then goes to find a couple of little shorebreak drainers. All in a day’s work!
