Ah, the wildlife of Western Australia.

Covering more than 70% of the earths surface, oceans support an estimated 230,000 known species. The coolest part is that 95% of this habitat remains unexplored. Imagine what we have yet to discover.

Yep, just out for a surf with the boys when you see a splash in the water. What do you do? If you’re John John Florence, you send the drone up to have a look at what’s going on around you. Especially in Western Australia.

Two sharks happen to be lurking in the murk right where the boys were sitting. Ah, the wildlife of West Oz. White Pointers are abundant. And the number of fatal attacks since the 2000s in the region is in the teens. Needless to say, the drone sighting put the training sess on hold.
