Kelly Slater is very different from most surfers. The Spicoli stereotype, for the most part, is pretty damn real. Slater, however, is able to clearly express his thoughts on a variety of issues, and whether you agree with him or not, it’s good to have the world’s most recognizable surfer be an intelligent human being.
