Kelly Slater did kind of a weird thing a while ago (not THAT weird, when you think about it) when he partnered with Pottery Barn Teen to make a line of sustainable furniture. And like any good line of furniture, it included a bean bag chair (no! It’s a “Latitude Lounger”!). And like any good Kelly Slater, he decided that he would surf on it. So he took it out on a paddleboard, deftly hucked it into the wave behind him, let it catch up, and then sat down on it. Because it’s a bean bag chair, and you’re supposed to sit on it. Kelly Slater can basically surf on anything. Remember that time he surfed on a table? Yup, that happened.
There seems to be a weird little fad going around where people surf (if you count stand up paddling as surfing) on weird things and do weirder things.
