Kirra Logging: The Never Ending Gold Coast Dream

A dreamlike escape on a warm, pristine winter’s day on the Gold Coast of Australia.

It was another pristine winter’s weekend on the Gold Coast of Australia. The waves rolled for a couple hundred meters through Kirra. Not big by any means—around two-foot, but it allowed me to get my nine-foot log and my AquaTech water housing and shoot my mates while surfing the wave behind them. I definitely got the best of both worlds, and there was nothing but laughs and smiles to see out another great weekend.
