Koa Smith’s Best Wave of 2020 Is Absolutely BONKERS

Well, it’s officially 2021, no matter what time zone you’re in. It was a strange year wasn’t it? Fires! Plague! Civil unrest! Oh, it had it all. Despite all the awfulness, it did have some very good waves, and Koa Smith, with his ever-present smile and his always-sunny demeanor, was there to ride a lot of them. He managed to get to places like Indonesia, Panama, Morocco, and of course his home of Hawaii, and in those places, he got some supremely amazing surf. He kindly sat down in front of the camera to break down the top five, and we’d imagine they’re five waves that he won’t forget no matter how many years go by.
