Koa Smith is very good at surfing. Far better than the average person, as evidenced by his Skeleton Bay exploits and his runner-up finish in The Ultimate Surfer. Because of that last part, he’s also well-versed in surfing waves of the man-made variety — but usually, he’s on a board with fins.
Koa (who is currently vying for Ultimate Surfer-winner Zeke Lau’s wildcards) recently met up with Blair Conklin at the BSR Surf Resort. Blair, of course, is a man who enjoys riding a skimboard. Both men are stupidly good at riding waves, whether they have fins on their boards or not, and the video above is proof. As if you needed it.
