Back in the ’90s, an Australian guy named Lance Knight set up shop on Sipora Island in the Mentawai archipelago. He set up shop there because right out front was a wave that is very nearly perfect. Since then, of course, a bunch of surf camps have sprung up, including Hollow Tree’s Resort, which is where the video you’re about to watch was shot from.
