The winds picked up pretty early on Sunday, which killed the beach breaks in LA. I decided to head north to a sheltered point break and definitely scored. The sets were pushing double overhead. Nick Rosza showed up and lit the place up. The next morning I went to Malibu and it was all-time. The waves were a lot cleaner on Monday and the swell was still pumping. There were a ton of rippers in the water, including Eli Olson, Koa Rothman, Dean “Dingo” Morrison, and local legend, Allen Sarlo. Everyone lit up the place with high-performance surfing. I love south swells in LA.
