Lewy Finnegan is not afraid of the send. He’s been sending it harder than just about anyone for a long, long time, and over the course of the years, he’s been the victim of more than a few serious wipeouts. When one rides waves like the ones Lewy does, those wipeouts are a tad more serious than most people’s wipeouts. Take, for example, the one in the clip above. Shot years ago at the Right, it has to be one of the worst wipeouts imaginable. It was so bad that the creators of the clip called it “One of the heaviest wipeouts in bodyboarding history.”
