If you have a long memory and love good surfing in really good waves, you’ll remember the 2008 Rip Curl Search event at Padang Padang and Uluwatu. The Search had a good format: just secretive enough to keep the mystery alive and to keep the surfers’ travel bugs itchy. The ASP (now WSL, of course) took Rip Curl’s roving license concept and ran with it. And the WSL (then the ASP, of course) reached deep into its video vault and pulled out a 48-minute film that covers everything that epic contest had to offer.
