It said 3-4 feet on the surf forecast. But as I was checking the cams, I noticed how fun and clean the bigger sets looked. And there were so many people having a good time in the water. So I headed down to the beach to film. One of the coolest parts of the day was watching Cormac O’Brien do his thing on a longboard. Kid has got it going on.
The surf wasn’t big, that’s for sure. But it was just clean with good shape. All-in-all, it was good surf with good people. Who knew El Porto could be so fun? It hasn’t looked like this in months.
