Mason Ho and 12 Minutes of Pipeline/Backdoor Magic

Mason Ho surfs Pipeline differently than anyone else. Sure, other people get super barreled and take off super late, and ride bigger boards and do little chop hops and butt drags, but Mason? Mason does it in a uniquely Mason way. So far, 2022 has been wildly good at the North Shore’s most famous wave, and Mason has been there making sure he’s keeping his skills sharp. He won the Backdoor Shootout, which is likely one of his proudest accomplishments, and he did it by beating all the best surfers at the best wave in the best conditions. Need more proof?
