Mason Ho and Sheldon Paishon Surf a Super Shallow Chunk of Reef

Mason Ho and Sheldon Paishon don’t seem to mind too much if there are rocks in the way of their wave. They just put their heads down and go.

When you’re looking at a wave that you might potentially surf, there’s a decent chance you’re at least partially thinking about what the bottom might look like. First and foremost, are there exposed rocks that could trip you up and put a painful end to your session? It’s a fine line to walk, of course, because shallow can mean barrels, but Mason Ho doesn’t even try and walk it. He just sees a wave and surfs it, bathymetry be damned. Sheldon Paishon is cut from the same cloth, and the proof is in the pudding at the wave in the video above.
