If you paddle out at big Sunset or big Pipeline, chances are, you won’t see a board under six feet. Unless, of course, Mason Ho is there.

If you paddle out at big Sunset or big Pipeline, chances are, you won’t see a board under six feet. Unless, of course, it’s big enough to tow, but that’s a different ballgame. Also unless you paddle out at big Sunset or big Pipeline and Mason Ho is there.

The particular surfboard under Ho’s feet in the video you see here is one of his all-time favorites. It’s a …Lost Mini Driver, and he’s been taking it out in places most wouldn’t more than usual this year.

“Big board spots on a smaller board has been the theme for most of this year,” he wrote. “Just experimenting and having fun. This edit is extra special because we got an uncle Gavin Beschen getting spit out cameo!”
