There is something so simple and satisfying about leaving the cold, California weather to go enjoy summer for a few weeks. The Boehne family, Nathan Carvalho and I went out to Tahiti just for fun, without much expectation. To our surprise, the waves ended up being super sick and I was thankfully there to capture it. My favorite part of the trip was shooting in the water at Teahupoo and getting the shots I have always dreamed of. Thanks Dan Boehne for taking me out, to the locals for treating us like family, and to my parents who let me miss 3 weeks of school.
