This was another one of those rare days. I had surfed all morning and was spent. I grabbed my camera walked across the street and was greeted by empty perfection. Photo: Craig Larson
Iv’e been playing around with cameras since I was a kid. However, photography was always second to surfing. I would surf until I couldn’t paddle anymore, and then I would break out my camera to shoot. Still, my passion for photography has grown. It’s such a different medium than it once was. I love shooting early in the morning . Getting home while the world is still asleep, plugging the memory card into the computer, and checking the morning photo session with coffee in hand is what it’s all about. I call Huntington Beach, California home. And despite this region’s reputation for being ridiculously crowded, you can find a few empty gems if you know where to look. Here are five of my favorite empty lineup shots.
