This is a wave in Mexico that I had been trying to score for ten years. It was elusive. Needless to say, @danishanderson, @lanejpearson, and I absolutely scored it on this swell. We surfed it for three days by ourselves. It was a treat. Unfortunately, the local fishing community built a jetty in the middle of the lineup as we were there. We checked it two weeks later on our drive north and there was a ton of backwash going through the lineup from waves hitting the jetty. We may have been the last group of people to properly score it before it was ruined. Photo: Mark McInnis Photography
