Nate Florence is not afraid of wiping out. He surfs the biggest waves he can and charges them as hard as possible, and that mindset is not without its risks. He’s fresh off a broken back, traveling the world on a slab tour that consists almost solely of waves that most people would run screaming from. He’s in Puerto Escondido, a place that serves up waves that want to kill you, and he is definitely not shying away from going send. This would have been the drop of a lifetime had he stuck it.
