My name is Matt Landon, born and raised in good old Ocean City, MD. We get about three months of craziness here: no waves and surf beaches as packed as a sardine can. That’s summertime, of course. Then all of the sudden it comes to an end. The tourists load up their mini vans and leave, our little beach town becomes fairly desolate, and the ocean begins to breathe again. I picked up a camera a little over a year ago and haven’t put it down since. Being able to inspire and stoke people up with my photos who don’t get see what goes on here in the off season makes me feel beyond grateful to grow up where I did.
