You know those moments in life when you know, without a shadow of a doubt, that things have gone horribly, horribly wrong and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it? That’s an oh shit moment. Paige Alms, a connoisseur of Maui’s biggest and baddest wave, has probably had quite a few of those in her career of surfing gigantic waves. Paige is one of the greatest female big wave surfers ever, one doesn’t earn that title without taking a few serious lickings. This one, however, was caught on camera by Bruno Lemos and thrown into slow motion for our viewing pleasure.
