A Look at the Slabby Barrels and Peak-Splitting Sections of Palm Springs

I left Los Angeles and headed east to the desert in search of waves. I was greeted by 100-degree heat and slabby barrels at the Palm Springs Surf Club.

I left Los Angeles and it was 66 degrees, heading east in search of waves in Palm Springs. I was greeted by over a hundred degree heat and chlorinated barrels at the Palm Springs Surf Club. It’s basically a resort-style wave pool. We were there on a strike mission with access to a two-hour session. And we got the first session of the day, which meant pure glass. The backdrop of the mountains overlooking Palm Springs was absolutely beautiful.
