Rapa Nui isn’t the kind of spot that you can surf with any sort of regularity – it’s more of a one in ten kind of place. It’s rarely perfect and planning a trip there is usually an exercise in futility, but when Ramon Navarro, Gabriel Villarán, Cristian Merello and Uti Araki saw the swell charts light up, they knew where they had to be.
