Pipeline Cleaned Up For the First Real Swell of the Winter

When the first swell of the North Shore season showed up, Pipeline surfers were excited. And they had good reason to be, as evidenced by this video.

The first real swell of the winter started hit the North Shore near the end of October. Pipe surfers waxed up and wind-milled their arms in preparation, and as the swell built, things got big. As is often the case, the first bit of it was a little disorganized. But as time progressed, things cleaned up. Patience is a virtue, they say. “With a steady NNW swell coming in at 11 feet, 15 seconds at 327 degrees,” wrote Raw Days on YouTube, “things soon paid off for those who waited.”
