Two years ago I was given the opportunity to take my travels, photography and films to another creative level with my friends in the Banyak Islands on their new surf charter vessel, Pulse, as the on board photographer. I returned last fortnight after eight months straight on the boat, and here is a small showcase highlighting the imagery of the Banyak Islands and surrounding regions. A dream job it was, but after two seasons I missed my adopted home of Lorne and my friends so much – that even the perfect, crystalline barrels of Treasure Island couldn’t stop me from returning home. I would like to thank the owners of Pulse for the opportunity of a lifetime and memories I will never forget. The Pulse team have vast experience in the Banyak Islands and can be considered as one of, if not the best surf charter operation in Indonesia . Check them out at www.banyakislands.com and more of my photography can be accessed on my Instagram account: @alexandercleland.
