My name is Colin Nearman. I’m from the central coast of California and my passion is surf photography. A road into surf photography can lead to a love for shooting whatever your surroundings let you become inspired by. My goal is to share a thought that is driven by optimism. The possibilities for creativity through images based around our oceans can become endless. I love being in the water–surfing, bodysurfing or just swimming around to appreciate it. I feel like that allows me to admire it for both the intensity but also simplicity you can find being there. That’s what I aim for my photos to portray.
