Evan Conway, aka Econ, is a 22-year-old self taught photographer who was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He has been shooting surf photography since he first picked up a camera at fifteen to document the waves in New York and display them on his surf media website, Reddawnproductions. His work had been published in print before graduating from high school and was featured in multiple different online publications. You can find Evan’s work in the 2010 & 2012 Global Surf Calendar by The Surfrider Foundation, various issues as well as online features published by Eastern Surf Magazine, swell stories by Surfline.com, and previous issues of Surge Bodyboard magazine, to name a few. With future plans to attain his Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts with a concentration in Photography, Evan always remains busy whether it’s shooting, surfing, going to school or selling his artwork.
