Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. We spent around a week hanging around Mexico City which was a truly mind blowing experience. Photo: Gary Parker

We stopped to visit an indigenous village in Panama on a sailing trip down the Caribbean and were greeted by the most beautiful people. The kids loved their picture taken and followed us around for hours. Photo: Gary Parker
