Even when the water is below 40 degrees and the air is near zero, there is no place I would rather be. When I take a photograph I try to capture what I see, everything from glimpses of light to huge airs.

My name is Jeremy Hall, a 16-year-old photographer from New Jersey. I have always been around the ocean growing up. It is where I feel most comfortable. Even when the water is below 40 degrees and the air is near zero, there is no place I would rather be. When I take a photograph I try to capture what I see, everything from glimpses of light to huge airs. In my mind, it’s not always the peak moment of action that is special. Rather, sometimes the moments leading up to and after tell the entire story.
