I took this lineup shot on the East Coast of Canada a couple of years ago. This was a tough morning for me. After a redeye flight from Vancouver with 3 hours of sleep, I jumped in a rental car and met Nico Manos at 7am at this spot. The water was hovering around 32F, and as I was scrambling down the rocks, a set came and sent me around a jetty on the inside. I pulled myself out and walked up to the point for another try. Jeremy Koreski is a professional photographer based on the West Coast of Canada. Born and raised in thesmall town of Tofino, B.C., Koreski has been shooting outdoor life, coastal culture and action sports since his teens.
With an affinity for working in the challenging conditions of Vancouver Island and Nova Scotia, Koreski has become a highly regarded editorial, commercial, and fine art photographer.
Currently working as the photo editor of Canada’s SBC Surf, his photos have appeared in most of the world’s major surf magazines. His partnership with Peter Devries for last year’s Innersection caused a considerable stir in the video world.
